Women's team in KC?

Here's a link to my story in The Star about a women's soccer team possibly playing at a new Wizards stadium. Anyone got an idea for a nickname for a women's team?

A women's team has pros and cons, but I don't think they should be a part of the league unless they're sure they know how to sustain this for 10+ years.

Obviously league organizers had to have learned some things from the arrogance of the WUSA.

I'm worried about the same staff handling both teams and not maximizing the effort for the Wizards.

However, I think overall it would probably be a gain for soccer in the region.

I don't think they need a separate name. If the Wizards own them, put them under the Wizards organization.

If we want to keep a similar name to Wizards...how about Mystics? That was the name used for the minor league women's team that was around a few years ago.

I'm fine with any name but the Lady Wiz or Wizettes.

I think it will help the stadium effort to have a second tenant and give female players in the area, many of whom are very strong, something to aspire to.
